Taking a look at what and how your competitor is doing business can be an encouragement and lesson in learning for you.  Within every industry there are those businesses that are and have become the role so to speak for many other businesses along the way.  Find one; take an interest in the one that encourages you the most.  Often there are things that they are doing that you can imitate and benefit from.  After you have discovered that which you admire in that business, be quick to make the necessary changes in your own business that will model the inspirations you received from your competition.
