
Netiquette is Network Etiquette and should be considered the same as business etiquette only online. One of the ways I identify business e-mails is from the subject field. I delete spam e-mails by what is listed as the subject. Make sure that you always use a subject and your subject is short, concise and clearly states your topic. Again, I reiterate, never take on a position of informality in your business e-mail, it could indicate a negative impression of your professionalism. Never take for granted the casualness of the business relationship and always address your contacts with a high level of courtesy and respect. With any online communications, always maintain a level of professionalism that will reflect well on you and the organization you represent.
