
I don’t know about you, but I hate when I am in the middle of a phone call with a customer service rep or a receptionist and they have allowed me to voice most of my complaint or communication and suddenly they inform me that they have to transfer me!!! I’m like, I stated my purpose at the beginning of our conversation, and did you not know that you couldn’t help me then? Low and behold, you are transferred a second time! Sometimes I wonder if the transfer is a way to upset you and make you want to forget about it—I do hope that that is not the case. Nowadays it’s difficult enough to talk to a person and when you finally do, you deal with this drama—yea, another pet peeve of mine. That’s the problem with being an expert in communications; you expect too much from people and get sorely disappointed. Phone etiquette is a good thing!
