If you didn’t know, yes there is proper etiquette for sending greeting cards to business associates, clients, customers and co-workers alike. Although it make get a little tricky when sending holiday greeting cards to co-workers. Since it’s getting close to the time of year for sending greeting cards, here are some tips. My first tip would be, don’t skimp on the prices of the cards---you know the big box of 30-40 cards for only $3.99. The recipients might think that you don’t value your relationship with them or something is wrong with the business you do with them. You have to admit that those kinds of cards are pretty generic and should be kept to send to relatives—sorry, they should. I said relatives because it’s well over a 100 immediate relatives in my family and those are the ones I send. I’m not cheap, I’m frugal!! Don’t forget to be sensitive to the religious and cultural traditions of the recipients of your cards. If you’re not sure, stay safe with “Season’s Greetings” or “Happy Holidays.”
