
I received a comment from Diane Corriette on my blog ‘Steps to Resolving Conflict in the Workplace’ and this is what she said, “Coaching people so that they identify their own behaviour can help too and is more empowering. When people can identify how their actions may be affecting their work performance and their colleagues they are more likely to want to do something about it. Usually, when someone else makes this suggestion they go on the defensive!” I agree that empowering people is the way to go, check out ‘Handling Conflict Resolutions’. When people become aware of the gifts and talents they have and are just lying dormant inside of them, the transformation is amazing.
