
In my blog, ‘Marketing Strategy: Engaging Interactivity,’ I talked about how engaging people interactively can lead to targeting your market. While checking out different headlines on AOL, I came across AOL Journals and an article where they are soliciting readers to respond to news photos by writing a headline in the comments section of the photo on thefeedblog. This is another way that AOL is engaging there target audience (by the way, their target audience is anyone who has a computer) and increasing traffic because people are happy to add comments. I have found personally that engaging your audience empowers you and your audience to create benefits for the both of you; a situation that works to mutual advantage.
