The other day I struck a cord with a reader in the blog Marketing Strategies above the Competition, which solicited another comment on the blog Strong Customer Relations. The reader commented that “all customers must be treated with dignity, courtesy, and respect.” I like the point she made that it is more expensive to get a new customer than it is retain an old one. It’s work to get new customers. And you know how I feel about word of mouth advertising—it’s the best. Use the leverage from satisfied customers. Good customer relations can add to and expand your customer base, so let them.
