Hey, we just talked about the large corporations uniting to capitalize on Generation Next dollars, well, the plot continues. Coke, who was recently ranked No. 1 in Interbrand data by BusinessWeek, has signed a co-marketing agreement with Apple’s iTunes. Don’t cheer just yet. You know how every now and then we get an opportunity to see some of the commercials for other products overseas, well this agreement only applies to the U.K. and Germany. Coke will offer codes for 70 million free iTunes songs to consuming European music fans. This deal should increase Coke’s image and consumption with young German and British audiences, and increase their bottom line. So the latest trend in marketing is----can you say co-marketing agreement?
