Body language is that nonverbal communication that sometimes speaks louder than words. Once I was in a board meeting with the owner of the radio station where I worked. He had the reputation for being a very intimidating man that even spoke callously to his employees. I personally did not like his style of communicating-aggressive. Remember, when your dominate style of communicating to and with others is aggressive, you win and everyone else loses. As an employer, you should strive for the assertive—a win, win for everyone. While in this meeting, I observed my co-workers body language. They were all somewhat slouched in a passive body posture and one by one he chewed them up and spit them out with his words.
