It has come to the attention of VIACOM that they need to target market to Generation Next. Most of these children do not lack access to high tech devices at home or school. Back to school supplies for them has much to do about PCs and Processors as it has been about textbooks and time tables. So VIACOM is looking to cash in on this youth market. This media giant owns Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, and the MTV Franchise and are ready to own more of the youth market by acquiring Y2M: Youth Media & Marketing Network, which publishes 450 online college newspapers. They’re making up for losing MySpace to News Corporation. VIACOM is ready to go all out to get Generation Next dollars.
