
Okay I excitedly shared with you my wonderful customer service experience I had with Best Buy. But I regret to share with you my nightmarish day I had with them today. Let me explain, on this past weekend not only did I spend big bucks with them on products, I also paid for them to set up my home network. Well, the Geek Squad came to set up two (2) operating desktop computers and when he left, I had one (1) operating system. He said, “Sorry you need to get a new computer, your hard drive is shot, for an additional $199 we can install a new hard drive.” The excellent customer service I received earlier was overshadowed by this horrible follow-up. Businesses large and small must realize the importance of follow-up. Customer service is even more important in the end than in the beginning of the shopping experience.
