
The main focus of any marketing or advertising campaign is to get a response from your targeted market to increase traffic, gain more exposure or increase revenue. The decision making process as to what kind of campaign would best fit your needs should not be limited to the previous years advertising budget. I’ve found that traditional marketing is not always the way to go. Mainstream media can be very expensive and may not produce the results needed or desired for your business. In any marketing campaign, you must know what your goal or target is in the first place. Running a non-profit organization has caused me to focus on more non-traditional ways of marketing. By utilizing these simpler means of marketing, I am able to use more money for the intended mission of the organization.
