I had an interesting experience recently when trying to get information for my website domain name. The registration was taken care of by my web hosting company and supposedly, the registration was put in my name. I later found that it was, however I could not access the information that I needed to manage my account. Well, I called my web hosting company back and explained that they had to submit a change that would allow me to manage my account. After the understanding that I did not want to change hosting companies, I told him that I in fact had a new domain name but no hosting company; he proceeded to tell me that they could not help me and to call GoDaddy back and tell them they have to make changes for me. Now help me with this, I needed a web hosting company and I was talking to the web hosting company that I’m currently doing business with—no strategy here and he was definitely not engaged.
