Logitech just released its new Revolution Mouse.  It is the new technology in computer mice, the MX Revolution and the VX Revolution for notebooks.  The company boasts that they are cordless, laser-guided mice that will redefine how users interact with their computers.  They are priced at $99 for the MX and $79 for the VX, currently available in the and Europe and features seven programmable buttons and a high-sensitivity laser for accurate pointing on smooth surfaces.  “By giving people the option of using a free-spinning scroll wheel, Logitech has addressed a source of pain for computer users, who previously had to continuously move their index finger to scroll through long documents,” said Logitech’s vice president of product marketing for retail pointing devices.  Targeting a market and meeting a need is strategic marketing.
