
When you make an investment in your customer relations department of your business, you are really investing in yourself. However you need to do that, be willing to do your research, keep great records and make the commitment to yourself. I’ll give you a little tip I use. For people I do business with, I make it a point to show an interest in their needs and listen to what they have to say with just chit chat. Later I take out my client list and make a note about that client and what we talked about. This will give me an opportunity to contact them later with a created need for them to use me again, in addition to sending them something that I heard them mention during the course of our conversation to show them that I was indeed listening and care about them. The result, a loyal, satisfied repeat client. This process takes time and energy, but adds to my bottom line.
