
Today I had the pleasure of being treated like a valued customer. I was taking care of business with GoDaddy.com and they did what I hope was their usual welcome script. That wasn’t the pleasure I experienced. Now, I have several domain name registrations with GoDaddy, so I am a customer and I’m sure they value all of their customers. Here’s the deal. A representative from GoDaddy called me about 5 hours after my business with them this morning and again thanked me for being a valued customer; he then proceeded to inform me of the different services they offered. He also told me that he noticed from my account that I didn’t have a hosting company and to keep them in mind when choosing one. I told him I would. I was excited that someone was effectively communicating their marketing plan! Yes!!
