In my blog, ‘Becoming Assertive in Communication without a Word’ I talked about how to understand that you can communicate both professionally and personally without saying a word.  A reader commented, “You can be more assertive, get more what YOU want out of life.  Good advice.”   Txdave, I think being assertive can take you places in your professional life way further than you ever thought possible.   Demonstrating assertiveness says to others, I’m positive, confident and know what I’m doing and where I’m going.  Assertiveness can also imply strong leadership ability.  Yet keep in mind that the verbal (your talk) and nonverbal (your body language) communication must say the same thing.   Hey, txdave, thanks for reading.
